A Half Year Old Already!

It was Avery's turn to get her 6 month check up the other day, complete with another round of shots. She certainly didn't appreciate getting poked but handled it like a champ. Thank goodness papa is the one holding during the shots.... momma gets to comfort! Avery got a clean bill of health and is hitting the normal milestones of a 6 month old. She has discovered there is more to eating than that yucky old rice cereal. Now there are things like bananas, apples, sweet potatoes, etc. Kona LOVES that Avery is so messy because that means we need our "chihuahua vacuum" to assist us. It is so fun to watch her grow. Every day there are exciting new experiences.... rolling both ways, "talking", sitting up, etc. Her stats include: 17.9 lbs (75th perct.), 27 inches (90th perct.) and 44 cm head circum (90th perct.) Granted, she is no Max Shipman (we think his parents are giving him baby steriods..... or Jeff's steaks) but Avery is thriving!
